The EDF-15.5 is an autoclavable glass bioreactor with a working volume of up to 11 liters (total volume 16 L, inside diameter 200 mm).
The EDF-15.5 vessel has a compact, ergonomic and robust design. The glass cylinder vessel is mounted between the upper lid and the metallic jacketed bottom. The design of the bioreactor is easy to maintain and apply basic operations and preparatory process, in particular washing and autoclaving.
Comes in two versions:
Double bottom vessel
for cultivation of bacteria, yeasts and mycelial cultures
DB – Metallic double bottom vessel with sterilizable sampling valve.
MO – Configuration for cultivating bacteria, yeasts, and mycelial cultures.
DB – Metallic double bottom vessel with sterilizable sampling valve.
PBR – Configuration for cultivation of phototrophic microorganisms.

Double bottom vessel
for the cultivation of mammalian and plant cells.
The DB model features a jacketed stainless-steel bottom equipped with heating and cooling capabilities. It also features a sterilizable sampling valve at the bottom for convenient sample collection.
The CC configuration is perfect for cell cultivation, for example, mammalian and plant cells.
